The Dixboro Project is looking for an experienced pizza cook to join our team. We specialize in wood-fired pizzas made in our Italian oven. We are a technique and quality driven kitchen constantly pushing for the best end product. We are looking for candidates who have a great attitude, are respectful, and eager to learn. Wood-fired cooking experience is a plus but also are candidates with strong work ethic, organized and driven.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service (chop vegetables, butcher meat, prepare sauces, etc.).
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Ensure that food is prepared and plated with the highest standards of quality.
Coordinate timing of dishes and prepare menu items with a sense of urgency.
Answer, report and follow instructions from the Chef team.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow proper storage and sanitation procedures. Utilize kitchen equipment according to food safety protocol.
Contribute to a positive atmosphere and help create a team oriented work environment that aligns with the company values.
Take on side tasks as requested by management.
