Responsibilities of this position include working with the pastry team to produce daily pastry prep lists and maintain a clean and organized workstation. Uphold the highest standards, providing delicious, innovative and consistent products at all times for the The Dixboro Project.
Core Duties & Responsiblities
Prepare pastry items in cooperation with the rest of the team. Ensure that food is prepared and presented with the highest standards of quality. Prepare menu items with a sense of urgency.
Use all available resources to maintain timely, consistent and quality execution of all pastry products including packaged, retail, brunch buffet, restaurant and catering menu items.
Produce creative and high quality pastries in terms of taste, presentation and value. Consistently fulfill orders in terms of quantity, variety and quality of pastry product.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow proper storage and sanitation procedures. Utilize baking equipment according to food safety protocol.
Contribute to a positive atmosphere and help create a team oriented work environment.
