Job Details

The Line Cook is responsible for station set-up and general food preparation. Assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure food is prepared in a timely manner, while adhering to all food safety practices and precautions.


Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.

  • Prepare food for service (chop vegetables, butcher meat, prepare sauces, etc.).

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Ensure that food is prepared and plated with the highest standards of quality.

  • Coordinate timing of dishes and prepare menu items with a sense of urgency.

  • Answer, report and follow instructions from the Chef team.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow proper storage and sanitation procedures. Utilize kitchen equipment according to food safety protocol.

  • Contribute to a positive atmosphere and help create a team oriented work environment that aligns with the company values.

  • Take on side tasks as requested by management.
