Job Details

The Expeditor is responsible for contributing to the guest experience and being the key link between the Back of House to the Front of House. Expeditors inspect every plate to ensure that each dish is prepared and presented properly. They are the last line of defense before food leaves the kitchen, ensuring our high standards are met.


  • Expert on the food menu. Able and willing to impart knowledge about our dishes and respond to questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens/dietary restrictions.

  • Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority. Create an efficient flow of orders from the front of house to the back of house.

  • Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature. Assist in the final preparation and garnishes of the dishes.

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills - Communicate with the Front of House in order to run a smooth service and encourage a guest-first mentality in the kitchen.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow proper storage and sanitation procedures. Utilize kitchen equipment according to food safety protocol.

  • Perform opening duties, running side work, and end of shift duties: clean workspace, all projects completed, adherence to storage (consolidation, rotation, labeling and dating of products) best practices.

  • Be a resource for the Front of House staff and help educate them on food specifications.

  • Participate in daily pre-shift and attend all staff meetings.

  • Contribute to teamwork by holding yourself and your teammates accountable to the standards of excellence expected. If you see something, say something. Likewise, accept help and constructive feedback.

  • Contributes to a productive work culture by staying focused and finding ways to improve self and others. Demonstrate uplifting, positive and encouraging work ethic daily.

  • Work with professionalism and respect. Communicate with leadership regarding needs and concerns as they pertain to your personal success and that of the operation as a whole, including equipment needs.

  • Able to lift objects up to 40 pounds, and take on cleaning tasks

Compensation Details

Compensation: Dependent on Experience ($20 - $22/hr)
