The Dixboro Project, a multi-concept dining establishment in the heart of charming Dixboro Village, is seeking a highly experienced, creative and supremely organized Executive Chef to lead an award-winning culinary team and concept. The Dixboro Project was developed by the influential Ann Arbor restaurant group, The Pulpo Group. This regionally transformational project is the group’s third restaurant in a storied legacy begun in the late 1880’s.
Requirements
5+ years as Exec Chef, Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a professional, full-service kitchen
Exceptional multitasker - able to run multiple projects and initiatives at once with great attention to detail and follow-through
Experience in high volume production
Strong developer of people and building the capacity of a team
Excellent culinary skills and techniques, experience with high-volume, breakfast/lunch/dinner
Positive mentality, integrity, bias towards excellence
Proven working experience leading a team
Highly organized with strong administrative skills (scheduling, ordering, inventory, cost management)
Sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent training and leadership skills
Experience with hiring/interviewing and building a winning team
Experience hitting targeted sales and cost goals
