Job Details
The Barback is an asset to the bar team and contributes to upholding our high standard for service and hospitality. Assists bartenders in daily opening and closing responsibilities, stocking, cleaning, and organizing tools for a successful service and aid in the overall flow of the restaurant. Must have extensive knowledge of the menu and offerings in order to answer questions from guests and colleagues. Must contribute to cleanliness and ambiance.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Anticipates guests joining at the bar and greets guests timely and with genuine hospitality.
Specific attention to aiding bartenders in the following areas:
Refilling garnishes, juices, blends, and ice
Polishing and putting away glassware
Bussing, pre bussing, and setting up for the next guests to arrive
Grabbing spirit bottles for the back bar or well
Restocking wine & beer as needed throughout the shift
Able to assist with every aspect of the guest experience from set-up to clean up.
Able to impart information about our dishes and beverages and respond to questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens/dietary restrictions.
Expert on the Steps of Service and assists bartenders in executing them.
Consistently perform every aspect of maintaining the bar, including stocking and prepping to ensure the restaurant and team is set up for success for every shift.
Operate with efficiency, seeking to minimize wasted time and steps to enhance the guest experience.
Demonstrate uplifting, positive and encouraging teamwork daily.
Maintain opening, running, and closing side work throughout each shift and keep the bar clean, organized and well-stocked at all times.
Attend bar meetings and all staff meetings.

Requirements
0-1 year bar back experience
1 year of restaurant experience
Compensation Details
Hourly ($10.50) plus tips
